Dear Neilochka,
Vis-a-vis your last posting about taking some time off from blogging (http://www.citizenofthemonth.com/ ), I wanted to send you a little something for your mini-vacation.
Car with the windows down preferred, dancing around in your socks optional. Enjoy yourself!
For all others, wishing you hot fun in summertime. I shall be in Neuroramaville, saving bad brains--one neuron at a time.

please note: music by Jason Mraz
Ah, Jason Mraz... Back in the year of "Waiting for My Rocket to Come," my daughter was absolutely infatuated with him, and saw him in concert with one of her best friends (who is still a very close friend of hers, six years later, she's actually staying, with her own boyfriend, Jeff, with this friend and her boyfriend tonight in New York City.)
ReplyDeleteFast forward a few years, and Claire completely turned on Jason Mraz, and began to claim that he was absolutely devoid of any talent whatsoever.
Personally, I find his music pleasant, I am not passionate about him in any way, shape, or form. I must admit, though that "You and I both" was a song that I played a lot on my i-Pod, or whatever MP3 player I was using at the time - I think it must have been during the summer or 2003, when I would walk from my mother's house to the hotel where I was staying in my home town of Marcq-en-Baroeul, in northern France.
I found it very special that you send me that video. What a cool song. (although I am sort of cheating already on my vacation by going online today)
ReplyDeleteWhat's a vacation without a tiny little bit if cheating?? Just be sure to crank it up and sing loudly :>)
