This Morning

by David Budbill

Oh, this life,

the now,

this morning,

which I

can turn

into forever

by simply

loving

what is here,

is gone

by noon.

  1. I lost my morning when I chose to sleep til noon today. My job kept me out all night. Next thing I know, I'm trolling in the medicine cabinet for something to help me sleep. It worked--slept right through the best part of my day.

    I love that photo.
