SNOWDAY!!

In my hometown everyone likes to jump into our cars and get a conga line going.

No cars here to make a conga line! We're in the deep snow part of the storm. I'll post photos when it's light. Enjoy your day in the cocoon!

And now I'll be humming while Gloria Estefan sings in my head. Come on, shake your body baby, do the conga. I know you can't control yourself any longer.

I wish it would stop snowing here already. Tonight will be a nightmare work wise.

Desiderata

Go placidly
amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace
there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms
with all persons.
Speak your truth
quietly and clearly; and listen

even to the dull and ignorant;

the universe is unfolding

in the noisy confusion of life,

With all its sham, drudgery

it is still a beautiful world.
