  2. Wasn't it such a time to be alive?! Our local newspaper asked for people to submit their memories of that day, and I did (but two hours later than the deadline - so it probably won't be published).

Those idiots who say it never happened simply don't deserve to be made of cosmic dust...

  3. I was 10, and I remember staying up and lying on the living room floor in the dark, watching the moon landing on tv with my whole family. Remember how everyone wondered what might happen to the astronauts when they were actually out in the moon's atmosphere? If their suits didn't protect them? I think we all held our breath at once.

  4. Oh, I know. I was nine years old and I think it's one of the reasons I'm fascinated with space science and all things NASA. One day I'd like to go to a launch in Florida.

  5. Possibilities... for sure... it was a confusing time to be a kid though... Vietnam was in full swing, protests, music going wild... and men on the moon. Will look forward to seeing this, thanks for the preview...

  6. I was 13 then too, but I was bored by it all :-), now of course I think it is awesome, but then I was interested in other things.
