For All Those Living In The MidWest

I wandered afar last evening and found myself in North Carolina where flowrgirl has actually seen and captured a bit of sunlight. There are shadows and everything. I have forgotten just how bright the day could get.
The Yankee sun is much more of a slacker or has an abhorrence for wild swings of lighting display. Could be on even billing...

  1. At least you have some warmth down there.

Here we just have gray skies and
    -18C. Sigh.

Spring looks a long long way away.

  5. It's very sunny here, if a little cool. I won't be fooled though, I'm sure winter still has a little something in store, not today though, and not tomorrow either. Today will be 57 and sunny, tomorrow, 65. I feel myself coming down with Irish fever. Careful-it may be catchy.

  6. Am not too far from flowrgirl (great blog by the way) and am experiencing, for me, the perfect day: cloudy and rainy. Will find me crawled up on the sofa with my latest read.

  7. We have built houses and malls to fend off the weather.
Then, we brought in music and flowers and moving pictures to cocoon us until we could get back out and play with the birds. Summer is just around the corner. Long live James Brown.
